1. Today is our pink game against EA. Stop by the library during your lunch shift to sign a breast cancer awareness poster.  The poster will be hung in front of our student section at the game tonight.

2. There will be a Spanish Club meeting after school on Monday in Senora Matens’ room (P-2049).

3. There will be a Hurricane Troupe meeting on Wednesday, October 16th, from 2:30-3:30 in The Black Box. We will discuss an upcoming field trip, officer elections and much more. We can't wait to see you there! 

4. Red Ribbon Week will be celebrated on Monday, October 21st through Friday, October 25th. This year's theme is "Lights, Camera, Take Action to be Drug Free. Give Off Main Character Vibes!" There will be a dress down theme and activity, each day of the week. Listen for information in announcements and look for the slide in Advisory next week.

5. Trick or Treat! Spooky season is here. There's only one thing to do, a Halloween Costume Contest on Thursday, October 31st. The theme will be "Cartoon Characters" and the entry fee is $5.  Listen for information in announcements and look for the slide in Advisory next week.

6. We will be offering the ASVAB test (The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) on Tuesday, October 15th. The ASVAB measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military. You are not obligated to join the military if you take the test. Check your Cohort Google Classroom for more information and to sign up!

7. Smoothie King will be on campus TODAY during both lunch shifts selling tropical flavored smoothies for $4. Please bring cash for this sale!

8. Yearbook picture make-ups, including Seniors, will be on October 24th during the school day.

1. Hurricanes Helping North Carolina! Please help hurricane victims in North Carolina recover from their catastrophic loss by donating items!! See fliers in classrooms and around campus for ideas! New items only! Turn in items to Ms. Perdue in the Choir Room (Room 2140) by this Friday, October 11th!
