1. Chicken, chicken, chicken! What combo you pickin?  Join us TONIGHT from 4 to 9 PM at Raising Canes in Prairieville (by the old Winn Dixie/new Aldi) for a night of great food and giving back. 100% of the donated proceeds will go towards the APSO “Bears for Cares” Drive, helping bring comfort to kids in crisis.  Come hungry and help the Lady Canes Softball team make a difference. Just mention you’re there for the fundraiser when you order!  Let’s SHOW UP and SHOW OUT Hurricanes!

2. Anyone wanting to try out for the 25-26 Prairieville Hurricane Powerlifting team, there will be an informational meeting on Monday, June 2nd, in the Field House classroom across from the weight room at 12:00.  All lifters must have a current physical on file to work out.  Click on the link in the announcements to complete the required Google Form.  PVHS Powerlifting 25-26 Survey

3. Tennis tryouts will be Wednesday, May 21st - Friday, May 23rd, at 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. at the Gonzales tennis courts.  Must have current physical to attend.  Contact Coach Brett Robertson with any questions.

4. Swim Team tryouts will be May 20^th & May 29th, at 6:30 p.m. at the Jambalaya Pool in Gonzales. 

5. Softball tryouts May 20th at 3:30 for all returning PVHS students interested in trying out for the team. Tryouts will be held at the Lady Hurricane softball field. You must have an up to date physical. Look around campus for flyers to scan the QR code and fill out the form. If you have any questions regarding tryouts or the softball team, see Coach Schulz in the art department. 

6. Boys Basketball will be holding tryouts on Wednesday, May 21st, from 6 to 8 PM in the Main Gym.  You must have a current physical to participate and you must pre-register by using the link in your Cohort Google Classroom.  If you have any questions, please email Coach Matens.

7. F.C.C.L.A. is hosting a May Membership Campaign on Wednesday! If you are interested in gaining leadership skills, making new friends, participating in community service, or baking cakes with the Hospitality Committee, meet with Mrs. Cormier and Mrs. Labbe during your lunch shift in the kitchen lab above the media center. Get the facts of life, in the FACS (fax) Department.

8. Anyone interested in wrestling next year go see Coach Collier in room 2109.

9. Girls Basketball Tryouts will be Wednesday, May 21st and Thursday, May 22nd from 3:30-5:30 in the Storm Center. Anyone interested in trying out needs to fill out the google form attached to the tryout flyer. If you have any other questions see Coach Delrie in room 2006.

10. Help the Softball team collect Bears for Cares. Drop off stuffed animals to bins in the front office or media center. 

 

11. Hurricanes: There is still time to leave your mark on PVHS by purchasing a ceiling tile to paint for $20 in the front office. All tiles will become part of the school lore. (All tiles must be school appropriate!)
